This OEM part transforms 110 volt electricity in to 7.5 volts eliminating the need to use batteries in the remote control receiver for Empire gas logs with (intermittent pilot) electronic ignition. All you have to do is plug the transformer in a electric outlet and the other end into the gas logs and never replace batteries again. The length of the power cord is ~2 feet.
